Whitehall Accord (1794)
The Whitehall Accord ((フランス語:Traité de Whitehall)) signed on 19 February 1794 was an agreement between counter-revolutionary colonists from the French possessions of Saint-Domingue, Martinique and Guadeloupe with the British Empire. The treaty allowed them to maintain slavery, which had been abolished by the French French governement, while the British were allowed to military occupy and to receive financial proceeds from the colonies.
It was signed by Henry Dundas for the British, and Pierre Victor Malouet (San Domingue), Ignace-Joseph-Philippe de Perpignan and Louis de Curt (Guadeloupe) and Louis-François Dubuc (Martinique).
